Executive Team

Steve joined the family business in 1997 following a career in finance. In 2001 Steve became the Development Director and secured AD’s first public sector partnering agreement. In 2007 Steve became MD taking over responsibility from his father N.G.Doyle. In 2023 Steve became AD's Chairman and CEO. Steve has been responsible for strategic managed growth and investment in AD, progressing the company from its £8.5m turnover at the time of his appointment as MD - to AD’s current strong market place position.

Aaron joined AD in 1997 as a Trainee Surveyor. In 2004 Aaron was promoted to Contracts Director and later Operations Director. In 2023 Aaron became AD's Managing Director. Aaron is responsible for delivery strategically and operationally for a portfolio of works valued at £46m+. Aaron’s experience at both contractual level and at board level means he understands the needs of our clients and the requirement to drive value and efficiency throughout the delivery of all contracts. Aaron oversees all tenders before submission, to seek additional value and to ensure they are commercially viable for our clients. Aaron regularly heads value engineering meetings ensuring our commercial viability and competitive placement in the market place.

Richard Gordon CMIOSH MIFSM MoAFA DIP2 .OSH RMaPS has worked with AD since 2005. Richard as a consultant had an established reputation for providing expert, trustworthy, professional and practical advice to businesses on occupational risk management; before accepting the role of SHEQ Director at AD. Richard has numerous prestigious industry accreditations and is a member of the following institutions: Chartered Member of IOSH – Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) Member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (MIFSM) Member of the Association of First Aiders (MoAFA) Registered Member of the Association for Project Safety (RMaPS).

James Ellis embarked on his journey with AD in 2004 as a determined and ambitious Trainee Contracts Manager. From the onset his unwavering work ethic set him apart, propelling him on a remarkable trajectory within the company. In 2023 his exceptional leadership qualities, dedication and strategic vision culminated in his appointment as Operations Director, a testament to the contributions he has made to the company over the years. In this pivotal role, James oversees the orchestration of all operational facets of the business, driving value, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
