An exciting opportunity has arisen at AD construction for an Apprentice Office Administrator to work on our Reception. The main purpose of this role is ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the office, providing support to the entire business, to be the first port of call for incoming calls and visitors.

Main Duties:

  • Answering incoming calls, screening and redirecting as appropriate, taking and forwarding messages
  • Manage the processing of incoming and outgoing post
  • Manage the process of issuing of ID badges and maintain accurate ID badge database
  • Preparation of training materials for internal training
  • Ensuring that administrative systems and procedures are being adhered to
  • Managing and coordinating the booking of meeting rooms

Personal skills/Entry Requirements:

  • Level 4/C in Maths and English GCSE
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • Basic IT knowledge
  • Good time keeping
  • Good, clear communication skills

Package:

  • Salary - £13,312
  • Hours - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1hr for lunch)
  • 21 days of holiday + bank holidays and Christmas closure
  • Birthday day off
  • Enrolment onto an Online Business Administration course

Additional Information:

  • As part of the interview process you will be required to complete an aptitude test
  • Nine-month probationary period
  • Eligible to work in the UK

This is a fixed-term position for 15 months, aligned with the duration of the apprenticeship course.
