Currently, we are seeking a Trainee Bid Writer to join our dynamic Marketing & New Business team.
The Role
To assists with all elements of bid and proposal writing and management (PQQ, tender and presentation stages) and other marketing and business development activity as required.
Main Duties
· Work with the team to plan, manage and complete selection questionnaires and tender submissions
· Research and write specific information to support bids
· Read and review all associated client documentation provided with the bid
· Assist with development and maintenance of the bid library
· Review submissions for quality and accuracy
· Research and compose case studies
Essential Qualification & Skills
· A-level or equivalent in English successfully achieving high grades
· Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and written
· Good IT skills, proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
· High levels of attention to detail
· Works well independently and is self-motivated, but also able to work seamlessly as part of a small team
Desirable Skills
· Interest in the Construction industry
· Ability to fully engage with all levels of employees
· High levels of commitment to ensure winning submissions
Additional Information
· Salary range: £25,000 per annum.
· Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 5:00, with a one-hour break for lunch. This is an office based role only.
· Annual leave entitlement of 21 days, in addition to bank holidays.
· Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
· Initial six-month probationary period.
