The Role 

This apprenticeship opportunity is based within our Finance Department, supporting our Senior Finance Officer and Finance Manager.  The position will be varied and interesting with the opportunity to learn new skills.   

Main Duties 

Day to day you will be dealing with data input of subcontractor invoices, mileage calculations as well as being a point of contact on the telephone and involved in general administrative duties and ad-hoc projects. 

Essential Qualification & Skills 

• Achievement of Level 4/C in GCSE Mathematics and English (or equivalent)  

• Attention to detail. 

• Basic proficiency in IT. 

• Punctuality and excellent time management skills. 

• Interest in finance.  

Package 

• Salary: £16,640 

• Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm, (1hr for lunch) 

• Holidays: 21 days of holiday + bank holidays + birthday day off. Christmas closure.  

• Enrolment onto a Finance apprenticeship course.  

Additional Information 

• As part of the interview process you will be required to complete an aptitude test 

• Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK 

• Initial six-month probationary period. 

• This is a 15-month fixed-term contract. There may be an opportunity for permanent employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, subject to performance and business needs.
