Charity Fundraising Update – August

Three weeks to go until the big challenge!!!

AD has increased the amount we hope to raise to £12,000.

 

So far to date AD has raised £10,500 - Thank you all for your support and sponsorship.

 

We are pleased to report that Andrea has bravely completed her sky dive raising over £1,700 alone...Sally and Zanisha make the jump on Sunday 4th August - there is still time to sponsor them, links can be found at the bottom of this news item.

 

And then... there is the BIG challenge...in just over three weeks time !

 

A team of 12 AD staff are taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge in order to raise funds for World Child Cancer. They have been busy training and undertaking some gruelling walks, albeit with impressive views and breath-taking scenery!

 

The 3000m combined ascent for the challenge is the equivalent to 60 times the height of Nelson's Column !!
