An exciting opportunity has arisen at AD construction for an Apprentice Office Administrator. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the office, providing support to the entire business, to be the first port of call for incoming calls and visitors. You will be working within our PAS (Publicly Available Specifications) Team, working alongside the PAS Administrator on the energy efficiency SHDF (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) jobs running within the company. You will work with a range of different contract teams to ensure the survey and installation paperwork is all correct before being passed onto the Clients/ Retrofit Coordinators.

Main Duties:

  • Reviewing PAS Compliant paperwork in line with the standards.
  • Reviewing photos are in line with the PAS standards.
  • Liaising with clients and subcontractors to ensure the smooth running of the project.
  • Chasing subcontractors where necessary for outstanding documentation and photographs.
  • Maintaining the companies PAS certification and adding on new measures where applicable.
  • Keeping in-house folders and trackers up to date.
  • Updating external client Share files and trackers.
  • Help create PAS forms to use within the company subject to individual projects.
  • Attend meetings to discuss the progress of the project and your responsibilities.
  • Answering incoming calls, screening and redirecting as appropriate, taking and forwarding messages.

Personal skills/Entry Requirements:

  • Level 4/C in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • Basic IT knowledge
  • Good time keeping
  • Good, clear communication skills

Package:

  • Salary - £15,704
  • Hours - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1hr for lunch)
  • 21 days of holiday + bank holidays and Christmas closure
  • Birthday day off
  • Enrolment onto a Business Administration course

Additional Information:

  • As part of the interview process you will be required to complete an aptitude test
  • Nine-month probationary period
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • This is a 15-month fixed-term contract. There may be an opportunity for permanent employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, subject to performance and business needs.
