An exciting opportunity has arisen for a quantity surveyor to join us here at AD, working with one of our busy contract teams, working from the pre-contract tender stage through to final account, ensuring effective financial management of contracts awarded.

Main duties:

  • Price tender enquiries, by going on site, taking condition survey photographs and measuring works where necessary
  • Provide monthly valuations/accounts, ensuring all records of variations are received on time
  • Ensure that rates negotiated for works carried out by sub-contractors include all necessary safety requirements
  • Provide clients with price estimates for additional works
  • On completion of works, assist in the completion of contract performance assessment sheets

Essential skills/knowledge:

  • Experience working in a Quantity Surveyor role in the construction industry
  • Quantity Surveying qualification
  • Full driving license
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fully computer literate with experience with word, outlook and excel
  • Confident in building rapport with clients and colleagues

Package:

  • Salary - £50,000 + vehicle allowance
  • Hours – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1hr for lunch)
  • 21 days of holiday + bank holidays and Christmas closure

  • A DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the companies expense
